A plaque commemorating the driving of the Last Spike at Craigellachie, British Columbia.

Each railroad extended from East and West, was combined by Last Spike here.

Last Spike was the ceremonial final spike driven into the Canadian Pacific Railway on November 7, 1885.

Whistler is the Canadian resort town near Vancouver in British Columbia.

Whistler Village is the central neighborhood of the town of Whistler.

Hotels, restaurants and shops on the pedestrian-only streets.

Two mountains behind the Olympic Monument, left one is Blackcomb Mountain (2,284 m high) and right  is  Whistler Mountain (2,182 m high).

Here is the largest ski resort on two mountains,  which are joined by the Peak 2 Peak Gondola of 4.4 km in length.
